As I’m pretty sure you’re well aware, I’m a big fan of Facebook chat emoticons. I use them all the time when i’m on FB because I don’t usually like to waste time writing long sentences full of stuff, I just send a picture then I’m good to go! The smileys that were installed when Facebook chat came out were pretty simple, maybe even too simple, but now they have a really good range thanks to adding some new ones!

Facebook chat emoticons

Penguin Facebook chat emoticon
This one was a real shock to most people, because it had been a while since FB added any new content to their chat service – then one day up popped a Penguin! Cool. I liked it too because I use Linux and everyone knows that the penguin is like the mascot for that, so i’m happy!

Facebook Shark chat emoticon
This one was a really cool addition to the normal smilies, because nobody else had thought to put a shark into the Facebook chat program. When it was added, people went mad sending them to their friends, sometimes like 100 at a time! They also terrorized the penguin when it came out by making the shark eat it.

The pacman emoticon
Ok so it’s not technically a new emoticon, but the Pacman symbol is pretty much the best icon I’ve ever been able to send to people. I can’t believe nobody thought of it before actually!

Anyway that’s just my two cents, you can check out Facebook chat emoticons if you want to see a full list of all of the emotes for the chat software, otherwise stay cool and I’ll talk to you some other time!
